The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home, Inc. makes no representation or warranties regarding the caskets, outer burial containers or other merchandise sold by the funeral home. The only warranties, express or implied granted in connection with the products sold by this funeral home are the express written warranties, if any, extended by the manufacturers thereof. No other warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are extended by the funeral home.

Professional Services, Facilities & Equipment Totals

Traditional Funeral Service

$ 2,725.00

This service includes: the basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, use of the facilities for visitation, use of facilities for the service or set up at the church or other facility, automotive equipment (hearse & two limousines), supervision of graveside services, equipment and staff necessary to conduct the funeral & graveside service. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, casket, outside burial container, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Minimum Traditional Funeral Service

$ 2,450.00

This service includes: the basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, use of the facilities for the service or set up at the church or other facility, automotive equipment (hearse) supervision of graveside services, equipment and staff necessary to conduct the funeral & graveside service. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, casket, outside burial container, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Graveside Funeral Service

$ 2,350.00

This service includes: the basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, use of facilities for viewing, automotive equipment (hearse), supervision of graveside services, equipment and staff necessary to conduct the graveside service. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, casket, outside burial container, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Traditional Church Service Followed by Cremation

This service includes: the basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, solid oak rental casket with cremation container insert, use of the facilities for visitation, set up at the church or other facility, automotive equipment (hearse), the cremation fee as well as the minimum cremation urn. Includes graveside committal service if desired. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, urn other than minimum, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Traditional Chapel Service Followed by Cremation

This service includes: the basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, solid oak rental casket with cremation container insert, use of the facilities for visitation, use of facilities for the service at Peacock Memorial Chapel and the cremation fee as well as the minimum cremation urn. Includes graveside committal service if desired. Visitation Followed by Direct Cremation

This service includes: the minimum (plus) services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming and sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, solid oak rental casket with cremation container insert, use of the facilities for visitation, and the cremation fee as well as the minimum cremation urn. Includes graveside committal service if desired. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, urn other than minimum, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Cremation with a Memorial Service

$ 1,600.00

This service includes: the minimum services of the funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, use of the facilities for the service at Peacock Memorial Chapel or set up at the church or other facility, the cremation fee as well as a minimum cremation container and minimum cremation urn. Includes graveside committal service if desired. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, urn other than minimum, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Direct Cremation

$ 1,175.00

This service includes: the minimum services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, the cremation fee, minimum cremation container and minimum cremation urn. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or compositions materials (with our without an outside covering). Cost of Direct Cremation with customer providing the cremation container, $1,025.00. The containers we provide are caskets and fiberboard trays or boxes. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, urn other than minimum, register book, folders, acknowledgement cards, stipends, cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Note: The Crematory requires a container that encases the deceased for the cremation process. This can be the combustible casket or minimum cremation container we offer, or an "alternative container" made of cardboard.

Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead

$ 850.00

Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to; shelter of remains, consultation with family and clergy, arrangement of the funeral service and visitation periods, coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, i.e. cemetery, crematory, and others. Preparation and filing of necessary documents, including but not limited to; death certificates, final disposition permits, affidavits, VA benefits, insurance claims, social security notification, procuring desired obituary information, and transmitting to newspapers. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for funeral services, cremation services, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Minimum Professional Services of Funeral Director & Staff

$ 525.00

This is a proportionate share of the Basic Services and applies to Cremation Services ONLY.

Additional Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead (Minimum Plus)::

This fee will be added for specific cremation services selected due to additional funeral director services, increase in manpower, equipment usage, additional facilities use including overhead.

Embalming with visitation followed by cremation: $255.00

Embalming, visitation, church or chapel service, followed by cremation: $355.00

EMBALMING

$ 475.00

For autopsied cases and bone/organ donation cases, add $250.00.
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for embalming, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Our staff will answer any questions you might have in this regard.

Special Services

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home	$ 1,325.00
Our charge includes; a proportionate share of our basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, embalming, and the appropriate shipping container (Air Cargo). (This fee does not include transportation to the airport, appropriate taxes, or air cargo fee)

Receiving Casketed Remains from Another Funeral Home	$ 1,325.00
Our charge includes: a proportionate share of our basic services of funeral director and staff, preparation of the deceased, local use of the hearse and a graveside service. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, register book, folders, stipends, outside burial container and/or cemetery costs if applicable, or appropriate taxes)

Immediate Burial

$ 1,500.00

This service includes: a proportionate share of our basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of the deceased, sanitary care of the remains, dressing and casketing of the remains, automotive equipment (hearse) supervision of graveside services, equipment and staff necessary to conduct the graveside service. (This fee does not include; outside area transportation, register book, folders, stipends, casket, outside burial container &/or cemetery costs if applicable or appropriate taxes)

Payment is expected within 30 days of date of death unless other acceptable payment arrangements have been made.
